I drew mostly children during my years of teaching art, crafts and other forms of creativity at various camps and After School Programs in North and West Philadelphia. Children make such wonderful subjects. They are so active it is easy to find them in interesting poses. I love working with them. I love to see the smiles on their faces when they create something that they really like, especially if it's something that they thought they couldn't do. Giving someone the opportunity to do good work is the kind of magic we should all be doing everyday.
